The mascot for the 2008 Beijing Olympics were revealed yesterday. There are actually five of them: Bei Bei, Jing Jing, Huan Huan, Ying Ying, and Ni Ni. Together the name of the mascots form the sentence Beijing huanyingni (Beijing welcomes you). I must say that the mascots are really well done. They look adorable and cute while retaining the Chinese flavor to them. Pretty sure they will be favorite with kids.
